Visitors
to Canada Travel Insurance Benefits Exclusions
1.
An
injury or sickness where the trip is taken to get medical treatment or advice
for such injury or sickness;
2.
Loss,
death, or injury, that is contributed to by the abuse of drugs, alcohol or any
other intoxicant;
3.
An
injury or sickness, or state of health which, prior to the effective date of coverage,
was such as to render expected medical treatment or hospitalization;
4.
Naturopathic,
holistic or acupuncture treatment;
5.
Expenses
incurred as a result of pregnancy or childbirth;
6.
Expenses
incurred outside of Canada where the majority of the time on risk has
not been spent in Canada;
7.
Expenses
incurred inside an Insured’s Country of Origin, which is other than Canada;
8.
Any
loss as a result of an injury or a sickness which required any or all of, medical
consultation, prescription medication, medical treatment or hospitalization, at
any time within the 180 day period prior to the effective date of this policy;
9.
Expenses
incurred as a result of a sickness for which symptoms occurred within 48 hours
of the effective date.
