The Emergency Hospital and Medical Benefits cover
in excess of your provincial plan for emergency hospitalization and emergency
medical treatment up to $2 million if you are covered by a provincial or territorial
health/medical plan; otherwise, coverage is limited to $3,000.

1.Out of Pocket Allowance
|
Up to $3,000
|
Reasonable living expenses of other
insured family members or travelling companions remaining with you, while you
are in hospital.

2. Family Transportation
|
Up to $3,000
|
Upon written recommendation of your
attending physician, a family member or close friend will be brought to your bedside.
|
|
3. Return of Family Member
|
Up to $3,000
|
Return of one insured family member
if you have been returned to Canada by air ambulance.
|
|
4. Escort of Insured Children
(up to age 18)
|
|
Your children will be returned home
when you have been air evacuated back to Canada.
|

5. Return of Vehicle or Watercraft
|
Up to $3,000
|
The expenses to return your vehicle to your residence or a rental
vehicle to the nearest rental agency, if you or those travelling with you are
unable to do so, as a result of a covered
Injury or Sickness. If you are air evacuated, you can return to the location
you were transported from.

6. Return of Accompanying Dog or Cat
|
Up to $300
|
The expenses to return the Insured’s
accompanying dog or cat to Canada, in the event the Insured is hospitalized due
to a covered risk.

7. Returned of Deceased
|
Up to $10,000
|
The expenses to return your body
to your province in the event of your death; or up to $4,000 for the cremation
or burial at the place of death.

8. Accidental Dental
|
Up to $3,000
|
The expenses to repair or replace
whole or sound natural teeth caused by an accidental blow to the face.
|
|
9. Dental Emergencies
|
Up to $500
|
The expenses to treat immediate
relief of acute dental pain caused by other than a blow to the face.

10. Air Ambulance
|
|
If assessed as medically transportable,
emergency air ambulance will be arranged to transport you to a hospital in Canada or the nearest hospital.
